We know COVID-19 affects many businesses and individuals. As our valued customer, we want you to know that we are taking this very seriously and are continually monitoring the situation. We have suspended the production of our boilers, but are still available for emergency services and maintenance.

Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees, and we are constantly updating our policies and procedures to adhere to the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and government authorities. Here are a few of the changes we’ve made to ensure both their safety and the safety of our customers:

1. Face Mask Policy

CDC recommended the use of face masks in public settings to help “flatten the curve.” Following their guidelines, we have enacted a face mask policy at Powerhouse. Both corporate and field employees are required to wear face masks when at the office or job site.

2. On-Site Personnel Physical Distancing

Since rental boilers are critical in emergency situations, we are doing our best to make sure we have units available during this uncertain time. We have updated our policies to make sure that social distancing is accounted for by not only limiting the number of employees servicing a boiler, but also ensuring that employees are at least six feet apart while performing maintenance.

3. Limited Personnel Product Operation

It is likely that social and physical distancing will be here to stay for the next twelve to eighteen months. Luckily, our rental boilers are designed as a compact, mobile solution where only one person needs to operate the unit at a time. We also offer remote boiler monitoring capabilities with Boiler Link. This product will provide you with a second set of eyes on your operation as a means to limit the number of personnel in the boiler room.

We know this is an uncertain time, but we are here to provide as much support as we can. If you have any questions or need help, please feel free to contact us.
