New Boiler:

York-Shipley Series 500L packaged firetube boiler in sizes from 20 hp to 1,000 hp and design pressures from 15 psi to 300 psi.  Design options include three-pass and four-pass wet-back design with with low-offset furnace.  This complete packaged boiler comes with a choice of high quality burners from manufacturers such as ST Johnson and can burn #2 Oil, natural gas, LPG or even heavy oil.  Boiler is constructed to strict ASME, Section 1 standards governing pressure vessels.

The Series 500L incorporates an offset furnace which ensures convenient burner access.  Other features include a corrugated furnace, front-hinged doors for easy access and a wet-back design which protects the boiler tubes for excess heat stress.
